THE ROLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN OUR CALLING

I have always say that our calling is always in two fold: what we are called to be{destiny/vision} and what we are called to do{Assignment/mission}. The vision/destination is to be conform to the image of his dear Son....Rom 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. The assignment is soul winning or the ministry of reconciliation even though God has given us different gifts and different ways of doing and fulfilling this mission; we must realize it is scoring the goal of soul winning . In a football match, no mater how well a player plays, if not converted to goals, the play is useless and a mere waste of time. The assignment of most people in the world is the pursuit of money. Using their gifts to get the gold, but the kingdom is different, it is using your gift to get the souls and not the silver and gold. Money is mere kingdom addition to facilitate and establish the purposes of God. It is not of the kingdom order for a believer to labor for Money, this is the assignment God has given to sinners. He has set the world in their heart that they may run after Gold and silver and gather them and heap them up. then God will do a wealth transfer...He will give it to his neighbor/righteous that is better than him than he might use the money to serve the purposes of God. So, in our God given assignment, the holy spirit works with us to convict sinners of 1. righteousness 2. Sin 3. Judgment Joh 16:8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Joh 16:9 Of sin, because they believe not on me; Joh 16:10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Joh 16:11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. A believer is the greatest MESSAGE of God, He is God's witness to the world, for this is how the Holy Spirit helps him in fulfilling his assignment, by making and turning him into a witness through the power of Resurrection; so his life style must be a weapon that the Holy Spirit can use to convict the sinners/world about 1. Sin 2. Righteousness and 3. God's Judgment. it is not just using our gift that is the issue but using them in the power of the Holy Ghost to bring conviction to sinners ! These days only very people care for the power of the Holy Ghost. we have replaced the power of the Holy Ghost with the power of Money. We are more interested in using our gift to generate money than generating the power of God.This is the paradigm of the world and it must Change !! These days, we are almost doing all that we do because of money rather than the power of God. The 2nd part of our calling is the calling to be Christlike. Christlikeness can only be produce after one has passed the stage of being a disciple. The first stage is a stage of being a believer 2. a disciple 3. Christlikeness which many refer to as christian. it was the disciples that was first called Christians. At the first stage of our progress in the kingdom, we become a believer, at this stage the Holy spirit supplies us with a lot of GOD's kind of faith that makes us believe God and please him; we simply live by FAITH. The next stage is a revelation of his will to us as the holy spirit begins to guide us into all truth and begins to show us the things that has being freely given to us. we begin to eat and do the will of God and grow in his grace and favor.Joh 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. Joh 16:14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. Joh 16:15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you. 1Co_2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. After this stage, God begin to push us into a stage of pruning./purging..and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Purging is through FIRE called SUFFERING for doing the word, which most modern day believers hate. The Holy Spirit Will lead us into the Wilderness or Sufferings/temptation/crisis to be tempted of the devil.....Mat 4:1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. 1Co 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. Heb_12:11 Now no chastening/crisis/suffering for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. Jas 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 1Pe_1:7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: 2Ti_2:12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: Rom_8:18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 2Co_4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; it is in this process we develop Godly Character and Christlikeness called the fruit of the Spirit...Jas 1:3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience/Character or fruit of the Spirit. Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, PATIENCE/long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Gal 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law

THE WISDOM OF APOSTOLIC FOUNDATION

See let us call a spade, a spade ! it is very possible to gather all types and kinds of building materials together and yet we do not have a building. Just because we have believers gathered together does not mean we have a church yet. A true church has a candle stick/blue print/patterns. Nobody could build anything until Moses received the blueprint of the tabernacle .These days, churches are being built on individual gifts/money/fame and popularity of ministers instead of Jesus, the blue Print. An evangelist can help gather block/living stones or material for building, a pastor may be good store keeper or welfare officer of the materials, these do not yet turns out that we have a church in the proper sense of the Bible. There must be an architectural plan/blue print before a building is laid. This is the reason many believers today do not have a form of Christlikeness or Godliness. This blue print or Church plan must be strategic . When you look at the seven churches of Asia, none of them had the same form of divine ,revelation of Christ. each of them was designed by Christ to impact their City in a unique way, to have a dominion/breakthrough over the principality of the city. There is a dimension of Christ that must be unveil and the saint must be built and structured to become the unveiled revelation of Christ to their city by which they will become Light and take over the city, as it is written, i and the children you have given me, we are for signs and wonders. Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Joh 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God. Joh 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. Joh 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. Joh 1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. The apostles by the arrangement of God has been appointed, first in the task of building the Church/temple not because of superiority complex but of the first importance in the building of the temple/church. he is the architect of the God, the wise master builder, whose is giving the task to produce the blue print and lay down with the aid of the prophets Jesus, the foundation of the temple, nobody can lay this like the apostle, it is his job and his calling, his other colleague, must know that and respect that. He is not a super star, but he is just first among is equals because of his role. his task is first, if we are going to have the proper church. how do you expect a teacher to lay his blocks upon blocks on a mere ground,a Sandy sand, we are merely looking for trouble/disaster in the days of storm. This is the reason why a lot of churches are been closed down by scandals and defectiveness in the character of the leaders/leadership. We shall be unable to grow Christlike characters if our kingdom living is not laid by apostles as God has specified. The Apostles do not only build foundations for our kingdom living but also for kingdom marriages . The result of a lot of broken marriages and ministries are the direct result of our disobedience to God's order and allowing apostle's to help us lay Godly Foundation for our Christlike lives. We have sinned enough, it is time we seek for godly apostle's to help us. our pride has kept us away from their Godly counsel .God is preparing us to receive his Apostles and prophets. let the true prophets learn to walk with the true apostles. Apostles and prophets are one pair laboring to lay Godly foundation for the building of the temple/Church. Thanks !

UNCOVERING YOUR GOD GIVEN ASSIGNMENT...Mercy/Help

he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness. .....Rom12:8 Lastly let us talk about the ministry/service of showing MERCY. Rom_9:16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth MERCY. The word Mercy talks about grace, it talks about giving undeserving HELP. so the ministry of MERCY is the same we know as HELPS. A man with the gift of mercy is a burden bearer. He lighten up the burden of others so that their work can run smoothly . Can you imagine a sister in the ministry of exhortation channeled through singing. This sister can sing alone using her voice, but she can also sing happily in a better way with the aid/help of the instrumentalists. These instrumentalists are acting as a helps or a burden bearers to the exhortation ministry of the Sister. Consider another case of a man with a teaching ministry to the body and this man is planning a seminar. if this man will need to run around, preparing for this meeting, booking hotels, doing booking of the halls and all the running that will make the conference or the seminar to be a success, he might really be dead tired even before the conference starts. But if he has the HELP of men and women to serve tables and run around with great skills of organizing and putting the meetings together. He will have greater rest and joy sharing/teaching the word of God. There are women/men called sanctuary cleaners, decorators, Painters, technicians of different grades and all manner of people that work behind the scenes whose ministry/ ministries are not obvious but are ministries burden bearers. These People are all in the ministry of MERCY/ helps. Some of them may be great intercessor as there is not such gift/calling to be intercessors in the Bible, but are HELPS/MERCY carrying the burden and the pains of the ministry with the set-man/woman. Most people called intercessors are either people called into MERCY or PROPHECY.The people with PROPHECY are good watchman as the can easily dictate the direction of prayers and intercessors in the spirit because of the nature of their gifts. They make prayers and intercession more productive and accurate . Mercy gift are also very functional when a man is weak and has fallen in battle fronts. They are the one that can look pass a man's offence and mistake and give him grace/help even when all has abandoned him and the man does not deserved to be helped. The purpose of the gift of MERCY is to bring CHEERFULNESS or JOY or RELIEF to a MAN IN PAIN; carrying/bearing heavy burden, they lighten up people's burden causing them to joy and cheerfulness.

he that ruleth, with diligence;.......Rom12:8 The word RULE means 'to stand before', or to preside over a thing or a people. it Stands for CONTROL or Maintain RULE. When men and resources are put together, it needs a man who has the wisdom or RULE to put the men and resources together to achieve the desired goal or purpose for which they were brought together. The sole purpose of Rule is to produce diligence in the life of the men and with the way resource are being used in achieving desire goal at a good time in the most effective way, without wastage of resources or time of men. This is what some men call administration and people with such gifts are called administrator. people with this gift sometimes could be mistaken for A Pastor in the five fold except their word base and authority in the word will not be as strong as the one in the five fold . The similarity can be seen in a man who has a five fold call of a teacher and the one who has a teaching gift or assignment. Men with these gifts make excellent Cell pastors of the mega churches day. The work well under a given goal. They are good goal getters or task servants instead of calling them task masters. we must not confuse people with a domineering attitude to people who can put two people effectively to work without quarreling and rancor. He seems to have insight into people and knows how to combine them together to work effectively and produce good result and they are good encouragers of men. Always remember, the purpose of men with this gift is not domineering others, but serving them in order to make their task easy and produce diligence in the work of the ministry. I think everybody in the five fold needs this set of people. When you have them, your work will be more organised and productive and they can easily birth growth in your work or assignment.

Rom 12:8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that GIVETH, let him do it with SIMPLICITY; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness. THE CALLING TO GIVE {GIVING} 2Co_11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the SIMPLICITY that is in Christ. Act 4:33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. Act 4:34 Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, Act 4:35 And laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need. Act 4:36 And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus, Act 4:37 Having land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles' feet. WHY DID GOD SET THE CALL TO GIVE IN THE BODY ? it was with the aim of destroying LACK in the body of Christ, creating simplicity or singleness/sincerity or liberality of purpose in the body of Christ . How many of us knows that the absence of GIVERS to aid some certain ministers, ministries and certain believers has lead to the corruption of their lives and ministries. The singleness of purpose that God gave to such ministers have been affected. lnstead of a total focus on the job/calling, some called to full time ministers/ministries have devised means for them to survive the economic situations which has taken them from the simplicity that is in Christ. The bible says, they that are called to preach the gospel must live by the gospel, this is the simplicity of the gospel. but this is not obtainable in some countries of the world today. Some Preachers have BECOME preacher AND businessman, and we have openly institute what is illegal to be legal because of our greed and personal race on materialism. But the corruption started during our days of lack. When we can't wait or endure the suffering, we shift from the simplicity that is in Christ and name it 'making tent' . Hey , where is our Holiness and Sanctification into the ministry ? At this Point I think I am raising my voice not to the Saints but to the Men who are called to the five fold ministries and the have not obeyed the sanctity of the office, they are afraid to let go. Paul the apostle made it clear that he was set aside for the gospel, to preach the gospel, doing tent making was his own error in the flesh which he corrected latter in his life. And he ensured that his son in the Lord, Timothy did not repeat the same mistake, so he said.... 2Ti_2:4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. Even though now that believers are kingdom of priests; we can draw kingdom protocol from the Levites who were given as a gifts to Israel to do all the services of the temple, just as the five fold Ministers are given as a gift to the Body of Christ to build the saints. The Levi has no portion of land or inheritance allocated to them in Israel, the LORD's portion is their inheritance ! They were not permitted to do any business but the business of the temple. This simplicity was destroyed when Israel refused to support the priest by bringing their tithes and offerings to the temple as commanded by God. So the Priest left the Holy offices bought land and started farming in order to survive the economic hardship. This is the same process we are facing now/today . The fact that some five fold ministers are getting into business of multiplying money instead of staying solely on the Gospel front and they seems to be succeeding with these do not mean that the deeds are right. King Solomon broke all the kingdom protocols of becoming a king in the kingdom and he seems to prosper materially, but his end was a disaster; so is the deception of not abiding by the terms of the holy calling and its separation. I can't imagine Jesus a preacher on Monday, a C.E.O of a company on Tuesday, on Wednesday , a political party meeting , then on Friday a teaching seminar . A man must be a man of one thing, this is what holiness demand ! Mat 6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Mat 6:22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. Mat 6:23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! Mat 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. When God begins to judge men who corrupted their simplicity or singleness of purpose in Christ, he will also judge those he has assigned to protect them from this corruption and fail. Money/material thing is a defence ........Ecc_7:12 For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it. Husbands and wives should be careful not to hindrance to one another in this service especially if one of you is called to this area. Givers have the anointing to destroy lack within the body of Christ and to protect genuine ministries/ministers being taken away from the simplicity that is in Christ. The ministry of Docas was so effective and needed that when she died, the Saint protested that she must not go that her services was need. They went to peter and complained to him, so Peter prayed and raise the woman back to live because she was protecting the lives of many from the corruption of the devil, she keeping the saint in the simplicity that was in Christ. ON the MINISTRY OF GIVING, the more we depend on the spirit to help us use the gifts of God or Christ that is in our lives, the more will shall be free from the manipulation of crafty preachers, who asked you to make a donation for a gift that shall be mailed to you. This act has taken the issue from the simplicity that is in Christ. You are no longer given bountifully, but for a reward, this is the problem of Balaam the prophet...GREED ! we must not give out of constrain or necessity, but out of love and kindness, not out of personal gain/greed, but out of compassion of heart as the Lord Jesus moves upon us by his Spirit. If we give out of a promised reward from a preacher and not out of direction from the holy Spirit, then we have indeed received our reward in this life and nothing is left when we face Jesus face to face. Most preachers you are assigned to support may not have the charisma and the eloquence to sought for fund, they may not have crafty rewards to give, but they have an honest heart towards God and his work, you need to connect yourself to the Holy Ghost to find such Men. Stop allowing crafty men to sidetrack funds meant for other preachers to their side because of their popularity and fame; be lead of the spirit to give. Find whom God has assign you to protect with your giving gift. stop allowing craft preachers hijack you for their greedy end... Jud_1:12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;

4. Teaching with the purpose of teaching; many thing today we called teaching are not teaching gifts. The question mark of a teaching heart is to answer the silent question of the heart called HOW ? because the gift of teaching is not only an informational gift but also an instructional gift. it tell you what and how ? it is the exhortation gift that answers WHY ? a A teacher will give you procedure, step by step approach in handling issues.it is one thing to know what you have in Christ, it is another that you are trained to use it productively .At this junction, I will like to say that there is a vast difference between a TEACHER as a five fold officer and a teaching gift as operational gift. The administrative TEACHER is heavier in Authority because of his Government role in the body. Most teachers love the practical approach to things given you an example to guide you in solving your problem. making thing work or functional is part of their passion and they also help people to develop skills or their skills in God.

3.Exhortation with the purpose to exhort. Now to exhort means...to strongly encourage or try to persuade someone to do something. The gift gives courage/strength to continue in a path to a man, especially in the time of crisis, fear and discouragement, when a man is weak and feel like fainting, exhortation could strengthen him and keep him going. behind most ferocious preaching is the gift of exhortation . Peter was an exhortation-apostle. His exhortation was so strong that on the day of Pentecost, he exhorted three thousand souls to the alter.
