WISDOM WILL GIVE YOU THE VOICE Ecc 9:14 There was a little city, and few men within it; and there came a great king against it, and besieged it, and built great bulwarks against it:
Ecc 9:15 Now there was found in it a poor wise man, and he by his wisdom delivered the city; yet no man remembered that same poor man.
Ecc 9:16 Then said I, Wisdom is better than strength: nevertheless the poor man's wisdom is despised, and his words are not heard.
Over the years great sermons had been preached from these great verses from notable men of God across the Globe. One of the key/motivating factors pushing the church to materialism is the messages of this verse preached by prosperity preachers .Please note that Prosperity is not Materialism for materialism is equal to carnality. The church of this 21st century is so material centered, that every thing in our churches now are measured in Naira and Dollars. Prosperity simply means to do well, and it is very relative ! This is why we have the prosperity of the WICKED ! A man can do well in Material things and may not do well in the things of eternal/spiritual life where with He/she is called. Unless a Man is doing well spiritually, I am not sure he is truly doing well.Luk_12:15 And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.
Now back to our verses, Most believers have been motivate to materialism in the view of wanting their Voice to be heard. I have often hear people say that it is Money that makes your voice to be heard. I said yes but, only in the natural, that law is a natural law not a spiritual law. In the Spirit it is WISDOM, Godly Wisdom that makes your voice to be heard among Men, not money. But the Fear of God is the beginning of WISDOM, if We look back at the men of God over the age, was it money that made Joseph voice to be heard ? was it Money that gave Daniel a Voice in Babylon ? Was it Money that Gave Jesus voice during his time on the earth or was it money that gave Peter, who says silver and Gold I have none ? what was it that gave these people Voice ?....It was Godly wisdom !

Pro_4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
1Co_1:24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, CHRIST the power of God, and the WISDOM of God.
A true believer is not a friend of the world, so the world will hate us, despise our wisdom, until they fall into trouble and darkness. it is when the world is in trouble that God brings believers from obscurity to the limelight to shine his light/WISDOM and glorify God and become his witness to this crooked and perverse generation.
Eph 3:10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

Ecc_8:1 Who is as the wise man? and who knoweth the interpretation of a thing? a man's wisdom maketh his face to shine, and the boldness of his face shall be changed.
