THE GIFTS OF GOD

What are the areas of placement in the body of Christ and how do we know our God-given placements? What areas of Ministry/Placement/Service are available for saints to function in their areas of calling? Let me start to answer the question form the later. AREAS OF MINISTRY/PLACEMENT/SERVICE THAT ARE AVAILABLE TO THE SAINTS. Let me say that the callings and the gifting of God are in 3 dimension. 1Co 12:4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 1Co 12:5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. 1Co 12:6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. 1. the gifting of the Spirit which are the demonstration or manifestation gift, they are basically nine. {1cor 12:7-11} 1.word of wisdom 2.word of knowledge 3.discerning of spirits 4.gift of faith 5.workings of miracles 6.gifts of healing 7.prophecy 8. tongues 9. interpretation of tongues , 2. the gifting of Christ or the administration gifts which are basically five.{Eph 4:10-11} 1. Apostles 2. Prophets 3. Teachers 4. Pastors 5. Evangelists 3.the gift of the Father called the operation gifts or working gift/gift of assignment which are basically seven.{Rom 12:5-8} 1.Prophecy 2.Exhortation 3.Teaching 4. Practical Service/ Ministering 5.Giving/Liberality 6.Rule/administration/Government 7.Mercy/Helps There are primarily two kinds of calling in the body, the calling to be a Saint, and the calling to be an Elder/Bishop in the body of Christ...Rom_1:7 To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, CALLED TO BE SAINTS: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. 1Ti_5:17 Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. Out of all the believers are those that are called to serve as saints of God in the world. these ones are allow by God to take up different careers in the world in different fields of endevour. they are suppose to be the light of the world. They must be sent to represent the interest of the kingdom of God among men and God is ready to walk with them so that they can do they work of the ministry of reconciliation. The saint are supposed to be laborers in the harvest of souls to Christ, but it is a pity today that a lot of saints are not well trained by the elders to know the reason why they are doctors, lecturers engineers etc. most think they are in the world to harvest money/material gains. Believers are meant to go into the world of men and become a witness of the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Only through the saints can the world see that Jesus is alive. Jesus is alive, is the message of the Gospel, He asked the saint to preach it with their lives. if the world sees the risen Christ in the saints of God they will believe the Gospel and be saved. The purpose of the holy spirit is to aid us receive/obtain power that would make us to become a witness, that Jesus is a live ! The second calling is the calling to be an elder/bishop of the church of God. the bishops/elders are men who have rule in the church of God . These men are picked from those who have the high call to prepare the saints of God for ministry in the world. God is aware that it take years for high called officers like the Apostles , prophets teacher etc to be ready for ministry. they must develop Character that will sustain them in ministry. this is why God gave the criteria for electing a man into an office . it is not enough that a man says I have an high call, he must grow, learn and develop Godly Character within Church and outside the church before is affirmed to be a church leader or elder. It is a shame that in this our days we are so disordered that once a man says I am called to be a pastor or Prophet, he goes ahead to start a church work. This is so erroneous and it is not the standard of the kingdom, we have kingdom protocols for being in ministry and only very few people understand it and are following the blue print. Now, the administrative gift of Christ is only extended to those who have the calling to be a bishop/elder in the body of Christ. Peter though an Apostle of Christ was also an elder/bishop in the church . most of what we see today in the church about bishops are perverted orders of God. All the ceremonies and long pharisees kind of cloth and attires are not Biblical. this is not God intent for the church. it has been hijacked by the carnal concept of men. may i make it BOLD here that the concept of church leadership is not singular but in a Plural form. for a local church we must have bishops/elders and not one band minister called THE PASTOR. the bishops are picked from men with divers elder-ship gifts like Apostle, prophets teacher etc. who are matured .Let us take a look at the church of Antioch, they had plurality of leadership that God intended for the church....Act 13:1 Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. Act 13:2 As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. So, the five fold gift of Jesus is only available to those that have a calling to be elders or bishops in the Church. Heb_5:4 And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron.
