UNCOVERING YOUR GOD GIVEN ASSIGNMENT...Prophecy

1. Prophecy, the purpose of this gift is not for comfort, edification and exhortation like we have when it is operating under the manifestation of the Holy Spirit. The purpose of this gift is to create FAITH when in use. This gifts open the bearer into the realm of the spirit where is able to see the activities of God, Angels, the spirit of men and Demons or devils. this gifts may constantly manifest itself in prophetic visions, dreams and voices . People with this gifts need close supervision and good mentoring on this gifts as it is possible for them for via off into spiritism and also being lead astray by seducing spirit. there is a strong deception in this realm. this is why every revelation must be judged by matured ministers before there are effected .1Jn_4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 1Th_5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Every thus said the lord id not thus said the lord until it is judged by other matured ministers. for by the mouth of two or three witness, the words of the lord will be established. 1Co_13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries/secrets, and all knowledge; This gift could enable you to see the secrets of men, of God and of Demons and information of things to happen or that has happen. here what Apostle Paul says about the gift..1Co 14:24 But if all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or one unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all: 1Co 14:25 And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth. We do see the counterfeits of this gift among the spiritualist who prophesy their visions and dreams, somehow these vision and dreams may have an element of truth, but it does not make them the truth, because before you know it, demonic lies have been introduced along with it which become the source of fear and bondage they{spiritualists} used in leading men into bondage and into the doctrines of Satan. true gift of faith when used does not create FEAR but FAITH in GOD. A good example i read was in the story of William Braham, He was regard as a prophet of his days/time, but he was a Prophetic Evangelist. His revelation were not on the word of life but on issues of men, Angels, sickness and diseases{DEMONS] He was a carrier of God's Healing virtue/power to the sick and he won thousands to Christ before he went into heresy and wanted to teach when he has no clear calling to teach. His prophetic was so strong in discerning the heart of men, diseases he was dealing with and the issues of God and the instruction of God's angel that was with him. One thing he said in those days was his prophetic gift makes him see the heart of men and knows things about them supernaturally that when he brings this to their knowledge on the healing line, this seeker immediately believed on him and his God and get healed. This gift works in different degree in different people or vessel .Most brethren with Prophecy sounds or behave spiritual in nature. Most of them tend to make their choices of marital partner by revelation and God said is or with visions, dreams and revelation. This may work well for them, but how ever if prophecy is not your gifting, i will not recommend that you depend on visions and dream to make your critical decisions. you need to find your operational gift and walk by it. it forms the basis of your paradigm or mind set in God !
